    Hi,

Trying to upgrade MySQL 5.6 to MariaDB 10.1, with WHM 11.54.0.8. Looks like the upgrade script is a bit broken:

Starting process with log file at /var/cpanel/logs/mysql_upgrade.20160201-074128/unattended_upgrade.log
    Beginning “MariaDB 10.1” upgrade...
    Obtained version information from system.
Ensuring the “MariaDB100” repository is available and working.
    checkyum version 22.3
Ensuring that the package “MariaDB-client” with version matching “10.0” is available.

    ...

    mysql restarted successfully.
The system was not able to ensure the availability of the “MariaDB-client” package: at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/MariaDB/Install.pm line 194.

    Any suggestions?

Actually it seems there was a problem with the yum (python) installation, once that was fixed the update worked smoothly.

    Hello,

Could you let us know the output when you run the "yum update" command on this system and attempt to update the packages?

    Thank you.
