Hey everyone! I'm trying to update a dedicated CentOS server to EasyApache 4. The built-in WHM migration tool simply doesn't work - it says complete, but never actually allows it to install. So I used the WHM terminal, and ran the script myself. The script asks if I want to create a new cpanel default profile for EasyApache 4, which I do. Then I get this error:

info [migrate_ea3_to_ea4] An error occurred while installing profile “Error: Transaction Check Error:
file /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd from install of ea-apache24-2.4.37-1.1.1.cpanel.x86_64 conflicts with file from package apache2.4-29-1.x86_64

I'm not sure what to do with this error, and trying to search for similar errors isn't helping a lot. It looks as though HTTPD package is't compatible... does that seem right? What is HTTPD, and can I disable it without problem? Or is it something else entirely?

It is a CentOS server with Cpanel installed. CentOS 6.10 and cPanel v76.0.8. I am pretty sure that it uses Apache instead of nginx, since I have to restart Apache sometimes. I guess I can't be sure - this isn't my real job, it's just a thing I'm trying to handle for my company. Is there a way to know for sure? And if we're on Apache, does that mean I'm kinda screwed? Thanks for your response btw.

The issue is the package apache2.4-29-1.x86_64 is conflicting with cPanel's provided ea-apache24-2.4.37-1.1.1.cpanel.x86_64. The conflict needs to be removed.
