I'm re-posting this on this forum--I hope someone can help this new user.

Whenever I change to any skin other than default on a customer account get this error:

The server was not able to find the document (./frontend/default/index.html) you requested
Please check the url and try again. You might also want to report
    this error to your webhost.

When I search in WHM for installed cpanel skins I get a list (vertex, xskin, bluelagoon etc.) , I can download a tarball of any of these and can see the skin files on the server. I tried changing the skin in /var/cpanel/users/acct_name from default to an installed skin, to no avail.

    What am I doing wrong?

The index page is located at /frontend/theme/index.html. When you change the theme, the location changes accordingly. Simply going to domain.com/cpanel will work in all cases.
