Error with File Upload manager from Cpanel

    I searched the forum but it didn't pull anything up for this unless I overlooked it. When using the file manager in Cpanel to upload files I get this error message:

    "Virus Detected; File not Uploaded! (Can't parse configuration file.)"

    Known issue?

    Have a look at your clamav.conf in /etc

    Look for this line at the top:
    # Comment or remove the line below.
    Example

    As the conf says comment out the line, so it looks like this:
    # Comment or remove the line below.
    #Example

    What if you dont have clamav.cnf since you never installed clamav?
