In Tweak Settings, the function for:

The maximum file size in MB allowed for upload through cPanel File manager. Use "unlimited" for unlimited:

Actually, if you submit, you will see it is:

Updating "file_upload_max_bytes" from "unlimited" to "100000".

So clearly, it is not limiting the MB (Megabytes), it is limiting the B (bytes).

This then also gets incorrectly reflected in the File Manager in each user's Cpanel. When you try to upload it says:

Space available for uploads: 98 KB

The actual quota for the user could be 50Gb, but for whatever reason, it says the space available for uploads is 98Kb. After looking at the backend script, it is reading this value from the maximum upload bytes.

This should NOT say the "space available". It should say "Maximum file size for upload" or similar, as it gives users the impression they only have 98KB left in their account.

So, as you can see, there are multiple errors in the logic or maybe it is typos.

I was able to replicate this issue in 11.11.0-NIGHTLY therefore it appears you are correct that there is a bug in the software. I'll bring this to the attention of my colleagues.
