ErrorDocument

    Hello, my server is not allowing me to use the ErrorDocument commands, I tried these 2 ways in my .htaccess

    ErrorDocument 404 /404.html
    ErrorDocument 404 http://example.com/404.html

    But, it keeps saying my custom 404 page is not found.

    Can you please tell me how to fix this.

    Make sure once again that you have uploaded the 404.html page in the correct directory. Also try to browse the page with the above methd 'webignition' has given.

    Hi, yes I have my 404.html page in my root directory.

    Also I tried the ErrorDocument 404 /~username/filename

    But it did not work

    Any other ideas?
