    In the log file from the daily update last, still stuck in the mail queue (see my other post http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread.php?t=67104) I found the following errors:

    cPanel Access Level:
    DataCenter Provider
    /scripts/perlinstaller Digest::SHA1

    will install the missing module.

    Then restart exim

    /scripts/restartsrv exim

    However fedora core 1 is no longer supported, and fedora no longer releases security updates for it. You should upgrade ASAP.

    Thanks. That seemed to work.

    Since the hosting company where I'm renting this dedicated server has notified me that they are getting out of the dedicated server business by the end of the month, I will be moving everything to a different server soon.

    The SPAMD daemon is still not starting, how can I rebuild it?

    SSH as root

    ps auxfww | grep spamd
    kill -9 PID

    /scripts/perlinstaller --force Digest::SHA1
    /scripts/fixspamassassinfailedupdate
    /etc/init.d/chkservd restart
