/etc/cpbackup-exclude.conf and mysql

    In WHM >> Main >> Backup >> Configure Backup I have checked "Per Account and Entire MySQL Directory" under "Backup SQL Databases." However, the eximstats database is really huge and I'd like to save space by excluding it from the backup. Is that possible?

    I thought I could do it by listing its directory in /etc/cpbackup-exclude.conf but nothing seems to work (i.e., the directory is backed up anyway). I wasn't sure of the syntax so I tried all of these:

    /var/lib/mysql/eximstats
    /var/lib/mysql/eximstats/
    /var/lib/mysql/eximstats/*
    var/lib/mysql/eximstats
    var/lib/mysql/eximstats/
    var/lib/mysql/eximstats/*
