Ever since my CP update tonight, EXIM has not been working. On my service status page, it says "exim (packageeximisnotinstalled) failed".

When I try to restart the service, I get, "exim status exim dead but subsys locked"

After searching the forums, I tried a few solutions but they did not work because my /etc/exim.conf file is missing.

I'm running RH 7.3 with the latest cpanel/WHM 7.0.0-E3 rebuild.

Anyone?

Still not working

I've updated to 7.0.0-E5. I also tried EVERYTHING listed in the http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=11093 thread. I still have the same problem. After uploading a new exim.conf, the file continues to disappear and I continue to get the error messages:

Failed to open configuration file /etc/exim.conf
OR
main option "acl_smtp_rcpt" unknown in line 11

BDRaco, can I get some assistance.

Thanks.

No that did not work. Again, when I ran the script, it REMOVED the copy of /etc/exim.conf that I placed there last night. This was the error message I received:
