/etc/ deleted every day and I don't know why.

    First, details:
    CentOS 4.4 2.6.9-42.0.3.EL

    Every night on this server, /etc/ is removed. The customer has to restore it from a saved backup in order to fix it. There is something seriously wrong, but I don't know what. I reinstalled exim using the /scripts/ program for it but it had no effect.

    If anyone has run into this, I'd appreciate any insight. I have a few of my own cpanel servers and have never run in to such a thing.
