Hi all,
so since last upgrade or so it seems...
The /etc/mailhelo override configuration does not seem to be working.
I have disabled and enabled the option to use mailips and mailhelo in Exim Config.
Restarted exim.
The IP and host used in the two file is matching and has the correct rDNS setup with upstream provider.
Yet the SMTP greeting still quotes the base server hostname as the sending server.
Also the 'Email Deliverabilitly' in cpanel also complains about wrong rDNS ie the ip in mailips not matching the hostname and quotes server address.
I am aware there is an implication with some testers regarding SMTP delay - have tried on and off.
Wondering if anyone has had a similar issue, is there anything known - if so has anyone solved.
Kind regards
Ben
