    hello,
I have a different IP for sending mails w/Exim.
I'm wondering what /etc/mailips file is for, Could I include the IP in this file?

Everytime I upgrade using /scripts/upcp exim.conf returns to original configuration deleting exim assigned IP.

    I'll appreciate your information/suggestions

    Angelo

That file is generated using the Exim Configuration Editor "Domains and IPs" option in WHM.

Changes made to exim.conf will be over written on upcp unless the directive is added using the Exim Advanced Editor.

Assuming you are trying to change a single outgoing IP for all domains, there was a way prior to cPanel 11 but suspect it no longer works.
