I am having this problem at my web host...here is the scenario:
we have clients that are running on a fileserver network with an exchange server.
for their domain name we setup aliases all pointing to one pop account.
every 5 minutes the exchange pop3 logs into the account, downloads all the mail and distributes it among the local area network via exchange.
the problem we were having is for some reason now the exchange pop3 program will not delete the inbox until the 3rd or 4th time it picks up the same e-mail. it then deletes it. it issues a standard DELE command to clear the inbox so I suspect this should work without a problem?
my web host provider told me this was a problem with cppop and to report it as a bug. anyone else have this problem?
