Exim 4: Queue is back?!

    When we first went to Exim 4, the messages that used to stack up in the mail queue went away. Now, a couple of days later, it seems to have come back with a vengence!

    Has anyone else seen this behavior? Is there a fix?!

    Hi,

    Have you checked to make sure that the mail is not a result of someone spamming on your server?

    They are primarily (99.8%) bounce messages from my server to an originator of spam. The accounts are not valid so they just sit in the queue. There was a period of several days that these messages were getting dumped automatically, but now they started stacking up again, having to be manually deleted from the queue.
