did you do a /etc/init.d/iptables save?kris1351 said:Ours worked for awhile after recreating the account that I was getting a good test of this with. I have uninstalled Mailscanner + ClamAV several times and still face the same results.
Can you please post your clamv.conf ? Just for us to take a look.princo said:I sent support ticket to Cpanel and they fixed it. They say they reinstalled exim and spamassassin and fixed clamv config. And it's been working for more than 15 days.
...Still, SA hangs.......has anyone tried anything else?? We contacted Cpanel support couple of times ...but no solution .....ever 3-4 days ...spamd hangs.....zentity said:I looked at a similar issue this morning (it was another providers server thats had an ip migration done lately)
I couldn't find the issue as i looked only briefly, but did manage to fix it by
edit /etc/exim.conf
driver = smtp
change that to
driver = smtp
interface = 123.123.123.123 (being your servers main IP)
restart exim - this worked for me, I will look back and find the cause when I get time to later today.
We use the planet also fwiw. They claim I am the only one having this problemprinco said:I forgot to mention, we have RLX server at The Planet with nightly veritas backup, anyone has the same config? Maybe it's related?
Paul-UKWSD said:Hi,
Heres how I fixed it on our servers:
rm /home/.cpan/sources/authors/id/J/JM/JMASON/Mail-SpamAssassin-2.64.tar.gz
/scripts/exim4
yep. ditto. i can't run spam assassin.. i'm leaving it turned off until another solution comes along.misko said:Still....after all suggestions mentioned in this thread ....problem still exists ...![]()
Yes, we have it on multiple servers with multiple providers. Tried all propsed fixes in this threads with no long term fix (some work for a while but then return after a while).bradleebaker said:FWIW Is there anyone who is NOT using The Planet having this issue?
