several of our hosts have mailing lists they manage themselves rather than through mailman. they're generally php based and some send out several thousand newsletters to opt-in lists.

the problem: all the mail exim sends out goes out through the main server IP instead of being sent through the virtual ip or the particular sites IP address. As such, there are rare times when they all send things out around the same time, that the main server IP gets on temporary block lists (usualy just the probationary period of time--few hours), but it's terribly inconvenient. if exim would deliver the messages fromthe IP address associated with the domain that's sending the email this problem wouldn't come up.

is there a way to configure exim to do that?
