I understand to keep from changes being overwritten you need to edit the exim.conf via WHM, also I understand chattr +i does not do any good anymore since upcp reverses that. I have several things I need to add to the exim.conf, about half of what I want to add I can via WHM but there are few places I do not see where to change what I need changed:

1. Just under perl_startup I need to add some lines
2. Rewrite the interface and helo_data just under remote_smtp:
3. Rewrite the interface and helo_data in the dk_remote_smtp:

For now I just turned off updates.

I suppose I could copy the exim.conf over somewhere else and run a postupcp script to copy it back over and restart exim, but I was looking for the "proper" way to do this.
Any suggestions?

Hello :)

You can also utilize the /etc/exim.conf.local file to ensure changes are preserved through updates. This is the the same file that the Advanced Editor for Exim in WHM uses.

Thank you.
