    Hello,

We already discussed this same issue with Cpanel and we got solution for this that we need to set exim configuration to defalut.

We did this solution and it worked but the exim.conf configuration changes frequently.

Does this happen due to update which we get from Cpanel? or is this issue with current stable release?

rbl, antivirus.exim gets removed from main exim.conf file.

We are on 11.23.0 Cpanel release.

So if there is anything to do with configuration or with server than please please update us as its frequently giving problems to us.

This has been started from last 4 months only and before this it was working great.

I hope I will not be disappointed from Cpanel:)

    Regards
    Mail2sacp

    Hi,

Please try the following steps , which will give you the default exim.conf and will fix your issue.

    # mkdir /etc/back.exim
    # mv /etc/exim* /etc/back.exim
    # mv /etc/antivirus.exim /etc/back.exim
    # /scripts/eximup --force

because a cpanel update re-writes the exim configuration to default. it is supposed to run eximup, which removes the attribute settings and places a new config.

    Hello,

Please tell me which cron should I remove from server's root cron, so that eximup or up will not happen automatically and I will in command to run for the update.

Currently there is no line for eximup or upcp in server's root cron. And I have deleted the following cron too
    0 6 * * * /scripts/exim_tidydb > /dev/null 2>&1
Is there any more cron that i remove to avoid this automatic update.

    waiting for reply
