I am trying to leave a windows based mail server. With that my email users only had to put their username in the username field of outlook or outlook express then the password in the password box. I am looking for a solution so that I don't have to go to each customer and change their settings in their OEM(this would be virtually impossible) Is there a script for exim so that each customer doesn't have to change their config but rather me?
Right now I add an email address

    user
    password

After this is added I see address
    user@mydomain.com
    login
    user+mydomain.com

Is there anyway to get rid of +mydomain.com in the login? So I just see user

    Thanks for the help

There is no way to getting rid of the domain address for the login of checking mail in mail programs.
The only login that allows you to check mail without the full domain address is the cpanel/whm username.
e.g. you create a cpanel account 'bob', then that person can check their mail with the username bob instead of bob@domain.com.
