Exim crashing since update - only, it ain't.

I'm getting Exim failed messages for two servers - restarting doesn't change the status, but monitoring the logs show that Exim is moving mail just fine and nothing is down. Cpanel just can't see it.

I updated last night to WHM 11.2.0 cPanel 11.11.0-R17033, and I updated Perl to v5.8.8 last night. (I know, probably should have done one, then the other).

Anyone know why these two servers have turned into chicken little when the sky isn't falling?
