EXIM - Delayed Emails?

    Hello,

    We are experiencing problems where emails that are being sent to an email address on our server arrives hours later or even 3 days later. This is the 3rd time a customer in the past day or two has complaint about this and was wondering if anyone could provide me with some information on why?

    go to dnsreport.com and enter the mail address there. If there are any problems, it will be listed there.

    similar problems

    email arriving at server and picked up by exim 424 but customer not able to download it for up to 3 weeks!!

    nobody seems to know why this could occur.

    the customer is unable to view the email in either outlook express OR his webmail - then suddenly it arrives very late.

    any ideas?



    edit: dnsreports all good.

    I have been seeing this same problem on quite a few servers , would be nice if someone could find a fix for this, at times, have thought it may have to do with clamav, but not sure.
