exim - delays in delivery

    anyone else seeing a problem with exim not delivering emails immeditly?

    I got one server with such a problem, it takes on avg about 30 to 60 minutes for the emails to be delivered

    I just got bit by this... mail sitting in there ..no load at all .. if I try to deliver manually goes right through.

    I had the same problem.

    I logged a ticket with CPanel and they re-installed the EXIM from source and it works like a dream.

    I used to have about 1700+ Messages stuck in the queue for over 10 days.

    Now 17 messages none older than 2 days.

    Why are we using crappy exim anyway, procmail is much better...
