    Hi,

I need to map mails coming to domain1.foo to domain2.bar .
That is, mails to user1@domain1.foo should be delivered to user1@domain2.bar
i.e. the equivalent of sendmail's domaintable feature for exim.

I found a link on how to do this directly in exim :
    http://www.exim.org/pipermail/exim-users/Week-of-Mon-20000410/017518.html

    Just wondering :
    1. Is there is a way to do this through WHM / cPanel ?
    2. If i do this by hand, will it get broken by cPanel at any stage? (Upgrades / Checks / Rebuilds)

    Thanks in advance.

    Go on, have a guess
I'd suggest having a good read of:
    http://www.exim.org/exim-html-4.40/doc/html/spec_31.html

You should be able to put the rewrites in WHM > Exim Configuration Editor > Switch to Advanced Mode > Scroll down to "REWRITE CONFIGURATION" and enter the rewrites in the following textbox after the "begin rewrite" line.

If you make your changes through the editor then you won't risk overwriting issues. If you edit /etc/exim.conf directly then you run the risk of it being overwritten whenever you upgrade cPanel.
