Exim failed !!! What are Exim_paniclogs and exim_rejectlogs?

    Hello All,
    On my server RH7.3 exim is down since 5 days.Today only I saw files such as exim_paniclogs and exim_rejectlogs in /var/log folder.
    I checked exim_mainlogs and i found these lines in that:
    2004-06-23 07:21:50 1BcV8P-0007kR-Ly Unfrozen by auto-thaw
    2004-06-23 07:21:50 1BcV8P-0007kR-Ly Error in system filter: /etc/antivirus.exim does not exist
    2004-06-23 07:21:50 1BcZ4p-0002cA-Or Unfrozen by auto-thaw
    2004-06-23 07:21:50 1BcZ4p-0002cA-Or Error in system filter: /etc/antivirus.exim does not exist
    2004-06-23 07:21:50 1Bc8sL-00018R-CR Error in system filter: /etc/antivirus.exim does not exist
    2004-06-23 07:21:50 1Bd3n3-0006rz-L1 Unfrozen by auto-thaw

    on my server along with eximn ftp is down too..
    Can anyone help me?

    What's the load like on the server? It sounds like you've been compromised. I don't know of any reason why those files would just disappear.

    Anyway, try
    /scripts/exim4
    to see if that replaces your antivirus.exim file for you and fixes some other problems that might be going on. You may need to rebuild /etc/localdomains by hand, but try the above first and see where it gets you.
