Can someone give me some suggestions on where to look to see wh y the exim process is terminating unexpectedly. I'm still new to exim on Linux so I don't know where everything is just yet.

    Thanks!!

SSH to your server and look for errors in the log files that might help in troubleshooting the problem. Run the following commands at the prompt:
    less /var/logs/maillog
    less /var/logs/exim_mainlog

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

Thanks for that. I don't see any process failures, or terminations in either file yesterday (27th). I noticed something just a moment ago though, when I execute 'service exim stop' clamd, antirelayd, and spamd all stop, but exim fails to stop. When I do a ps -A|grep exim I have one process for exim that wont terminate, and it says defunt next to it, but I can't kill it. Why is that?
