Exim has failed

    I don't know what happened but exim is showing up as failed. I tried restarting it and it didn't work:

    I have tried running /scripts/exim -f and it didn't work, at the end of the reinstall it tries to restart exim and it comes up with the error above.

    Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

    My OS is FreeBSD 5.3 (i386)

    FreeBSD is a real pain when it comes to exim. Now, take a look in the exim mainlog and check the errors you're getting: /var/log/exim

    The directory var/log/exim is empty so I tried viewing the file var/log/exim_mainlog but it has nothing in it.

    Failed? probably never worked if the logs are empty or they were set up wrong.

    Hmm, ok, I would have thought cpanel would setup exim for me or something. If it's not installed how do I install it?
