EXIM IS DEAD - please healp

    long time reader, first time POSTER-

    i did my searches, here and on google... i've tried all the recommendations, all the reinstalls, updated WHM, etc....

    this morning new order emails stopped coming in.... i notice exim was down, restarted it, failed... no info. logs show nothing, seems to have happened because of an update this AM....

    please help

    There will nearly always be information in the exim mainlog whenever you try and start exim. If not, then there ought to be something in either the message log or an error when you run the exim init script. The only situation when I've seen very little shown is if you've deleted the actual exim logs and/or tried to create empty ones as they must have the correct permissions and ownerships for exim to actually start.
