We are having quite a problem with what I assume are spammers trying to guess email addresses. We keep getting flooded with email to domains that have many, many variations of the different names @ the attacked domain. We will literally see 10,000 emails being sent in a short period of time. We have undeliverable email being sent to :blackhole: but it is still flooding the server trying to handle all these emails. Does anyone have any suggestions how to stop this? I don't know of anyway to block the email without taking the email down for the domain so I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem and did something like setting the priority for Exim to very low, or setting Exim to where it will only handle a few emails at a time.

Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.
