Hello all,

To my dismay today i have seen a very weird situation on my server.

When i "tail" the exim mail logs, i can see the mails flowing, But when i run the command "exim -bpc" to count the mails in the queue i only ZERO ( 0 )

Can you any one let me know what could the reason for it ?

Thank you,

Try "exim -bpc -C /etc/exim_outgoing.conf", it might be helpful.

Quick help is here.

in additional, may be your Scan Messages is disable. GO to WHM > ConfigServer MailScanner FE > MailScanner Performance > and check Scan Messages.

Thank you for your revert.

But, when i execute the given command i get an error :-

[email protected] [~]# exim -bpc -C /etc/exim_outgoing.conf
2013-01-28 16:06:01 non-existent configuration file(s): /etc/exim_outgoing.conf

Hello :)

It's possible that no email is queued for delivery. Email messages that are delivered on the initial attempt will not remain in the queue. You could try sending a message that you know will not deliver so that it stays in your mail queue if you want to verify your queue is working.

Thank you.
