Exim | Mail! :/

    Exim or whatever the mailserver program is called aint installed on my server how can I install it through the cpanel? I have sucessfully updated apache and alot of other stuff but not the mail server :/

    Please help need my mail to work so it's pretty urgent :(

    I can send emails with my email address that I got setup on my server but then I also use my isp's smtp :/

    Well, You should be able to install exim using the following from the root shell:

    /scripts/updatenow
    /scripts/exim4

    Hmm the installation went okay it seems like but for some reason I cant start exim :S
    And I cant figure out why have checked all that I know to check :S Would be really greatful if you could maybe take a peak? I could send you my server info in a pm if that is okay with you?

    What OS are you running ?

    Hi !

    When we tried to install cPanel on a Fedora Core 3 box, exim didn't want to start either, because of SELinux...

    Do you happen to have SELinux enabled ? If so, try to disable it, because cPanel doesn't support it yet.

    Also, check in /var/log/exim_mainlog when you start exim.
