Exim/MailScanner fail to deliver messages

    Hi,

    I wonder if somebody could help me to find a solution to a problem I am having with Exim and MailScanner. When going through the Exim logs, I noticed that, occasionally, the server fails to deliver massages to local addresses. The log entries look like that:

    At first I could not find any regularity for these errors but then I realized that they occur only when a message arrives seconds before the queue run starts.
    I will appreciate any help with that issue.

    Problem solved

    I solved the problem by setting up a cron job that cleans the Exim database every 24 hours. Not a single rejected mail since then.
