For some reason, Exim isn't starting up with the server and fails to restart.

I've looked in the logs (/var/log/exim and /var/log/exim_mainlog) and they are both completely empty.

I've tried to run '/scripts/eximup -f' but it continues to fail when trying to update openssl.

The system is a new install of a couple days ago.

    Try running:

    /scripts/upcp --force

    /scripts/eximup --force

I think in FreeBSD exim mainlogs are not found in /var/log/exim_mainlog
    instead try /var/log/exim/mainlog

Indeed, __arjun__ is right. The local path is /var/log/exim/mainlog
FreeBSD needs a little more attention than other distributions. Make sure your ports are up-to-date and the cPanel is installed and configured properly. ;)

    Oops...

In FreeBSD pasth is tail -f /var/log/exim/paniclog. If there is any issue with exim you will get a detailed log in this file
