T=local_delivery defer (13): Permission denied: failed to chdir to /root

What does this mean? Am I under attack? [/quote:fe9330e35a]

messages sent to root are usually just error messages from services,

chmod +x /root will just allow exim to change to that directory, don\'t be surprised if you get another message saying it can\'t change dir to /root/mail/ you will just have to do the same again

do you have any other strings from your exim_mainlog which may explain why your clients arn\'t recieving mail?
