    Hi all.

Is there a way to have WHM send out an email notification/alert to the admin/server contact email each time an email in the Exim queue fails. I am currently checking the "Mail Delivery Reports" a couple of times a day to keep an eye on failed emails so I can identify any issues, email notifications would be simpler.

    Thanks.

I'm not aware of any way to do this. Have you identified any issues with failed emails you've found so far in MDR? I'm curious what you're looking for exactly that you want to be alerted about.

We recently made Amazon SES the default transport method (by editing the Exim config.) and ran into a number of issues which resulted in failed delivery of a fair few emails. We've now worked through and believe we've fixed all the issues, however we'd like to be notified if there is a failed delivery so we can react quickly if an error occurs in the future. Currently we're running daily checks on the "Mail Delivery Reports" which isn't the most efficient way of doing this.

If there isn't a way to get emails then we'll just keep doing this but thought I'd see if anyone knew another way.

Agreed. Hopefully someone will reply with a better answer than mine. GL!
