Exim says it fails after Exim Configuration changes (but it really doesn't)

    This may be a false positive.. I noticed since upgrade to 11.32, that each time I make any Exim Configuration Chagnes and save the changes, I see this message:


    Your configuration changes have been saved!
    Exim MTA...
    Waiting for exim to restart.....finished.

    exim ([exim] ) running as mailnull with PID 12540 (process table check method)

    exim has failed, please contact the sysadmin.
    ...Done

    Each time I check though, Exim is still running just fine. I do a restart (/scripts/restartsrv_exim) just to be sure however.

    Happening on all of our 11.32 boxes right now.

    No longer an issue. The latest update 11.32.28 apparently fixed it.

    I'm seeing this same behavior. When I make a change in the Exim Configuration Editor, then save, I get "exim has failed", however nothing bad is logged in /var/log/exim_mainlog, and things seem to work just fine after the resttart.

    I am on WHM 11.32.2 (build 28) STABLE.

    Nick, do you still want me or others to open a ticket on this situation?
