Is it possible to create a whitelist to exclude certain domains from the "Verify the existance of email senders" & "Use callouts to verify the existance of email senders" filters?

We've created a white list and added it here in exim.conf:

    verify = sender/callout
    accept domains = SENDER_VERIFY_WHITELIST
    accept domains = +local_domains

but it doesn't appear to have any effect.

Did you get this to work? Or anyone else maybe?

I have 1 sender domain that keeps being rejected:

<<< 451 Could not complete sender verify callout
user@domain.com... Deferred: 451 Could not complete sender verify callout
Warning: message still undelivered after 4 hours

There is no indication of an issue with DNS on both sides.
I would like to be able to whitelist this domain.

Thanks for pointing me to that thread.

I discovered that the only thing I had to do was increasing the timeout to 60s.
    Code:
    sender/callout=60s

The server on the other end had issues replying to the callout within the 30s, which is the default setting I believe.

It is not explicitly specified, but I read 30s is the default value. Only if you want to change it to another value you would have to add the value like I did.

thanks I figured that out myself a little after with more reading.. tonight I will implement this.. this came to a head today (been ignoring it) because I was trying to get a reset password from a client's netsolSSL account and it was being rejected..

    BUT..

How am I to know if I should be adding someone in to this white list?? Am I going to have to periodically check the exim_reject log??? and or wait for someone to say something to me...
