Exim/Sendmail Problems

We have had WHM/Cpanel installed for about 4 months now. When we first got it everything worked fine. However about months ago when Exim was automatically updated, anyone using formmail on their webpages stopped getting their emails.

I am guessing that sendmail is aliased to exim since it was never installed on the system. I am also assuming that the new version of exim probably has higher security and consequently something on our system got screwed up so no one can use formmail.

Are my assumtions correct? And how do I fix it?

Best Regards,

The only information I have been able to dig up is that any mail being sent through the sendmail alias (sendmail doesn\'t actually exist on these systems but instead aliases to Exim)is that it must be sent to an internal address. Basically forms can only send to local email addresses. If the email needs to be sent to an external address than you need to setup a forwarder in the control panel to forward on the email to its final destination. I think it is quite stupid in most respects but I can understand the security of it too.
