exim_mainlog says SMTP connection from (TCP/IP connection count = 1)

    SMTP connection from [202.170.160.54]:31975 (TCP/IP connection count = 1)
    SMTP connection from [202.170.160.54]:31975 lost

    I see a lot of IP address of 202.170.160.54

    Is this an attempt of spaming or some thing?

    Hello :)

    Do you see any other entries for this IP address in /var/log/exim_mainlog or do you just see the SMTP connection attempts? It does not necessarily indicate a SPAM attempt. You can block the IP address in your firewall if you find that it's making too many failed connection attempts.
