hello,

I set my password ROOT as:
Code:
coolR:6/sbin/shutdown now
(R is my dad, (Robert) xD)

yes, I confirm: my password ROOT is: "coolR:6/sbin/shutdown now" (with space and command restart)

Connection from SSH, FTP, WinSSCP as root = OK.

My problem is: WHM always = FAIL

Who is the problem?, some "special rows" for password over cPanel / WHM ??

Thanks

Hey hey! While I don't think it's a good idea to try and use that as a password, I was able to set that up on a cPanel test server and it worked properly. I changed the password on the command line, and then was able to log in to WHM with no issues.

Unfortunately none of that would be relevant to the login issue.

You can always submit a ticket to our team so we can check, but WHM uses the same root password as the operating system, so if it is working for SSH there is not anything that would block it from working in WHM.
