experiencing an issue with our domain aliases.

if you go to any of the aliases set up for maindomain.com such as: aliase1.com and aliase2.ca you have to add a / to the end of the url for it to hold the alias url in the address bar
eg:http://www.aliase1.com/contact/ works fine until the / is removed and then it reverts back to maindomain.com/contact.
Please reply the suggestion.
