If I made a complete site using Expression Web and I was using cPanel, would I be able to publish it to the internet?

Sorry if this seems like such a noob question. I have never done it before and I want to know what Im getting into...

thanks in advance

Yes, you can use any html or web design program to create your pages. You would need to contact your web host for specific instructions.

Expression web requires .NET2.0 on the server for some specific functions, but you should have no problem publishing a regular website. Check your EW docs/manual for what wont work on a non MS server.

Well thats not entirely correct, you cannot use Coldfusion or any program that requires .ASP or .NET to be on the server. Likewise Frontpage 2003, which will work fine for the most part has some functions which will not work on current Cpanel servers, but its not the fault of Cpanel rather its that the HTTP server is Apache which does not have the special MS versions of the Frontpage extensions. Fp extensions on Apache are not the same as FP extensions on a Windows 2003/2008 server. Similiar limitations are for Expression Web Designer.
