I was going through /var/log/messages and noticed the following error.
Mar 29 00:09:08 host kernel: EXT2-fs warning: maximal mount count reached, running e2fsck is recommended
I know it has something to do with reaching the maximum amount of times that a device (in this case the backup drive) has been mounted.
My backup drive is being mounted/unmounted on a daily basis by cpanel.
So what does one do once the maximum value has been reached?
