Can anyone tell me what effects/limitations there will be if the DNS for a WHM/CPanel server is handled by two external DNS servers?

We use SimpleDNS Plus for all our Windows servers and it works great: we have 2 DNS servers, each on a different continent, that handle DNS for all the Win web servers. We want to add our Linux CPanel servers onto the same DNS servers and therefore *not* run DNS on the CPanel servers.

My query is if this will affect any WHM/Cpanel functionality, such as adding parked or add-on domains, etc?

We definitely don't want to use CPanel's DNS clustering (nothing against it, it's just not appropriate for us).

    Cheers!

The customers ability to add parked and addon domains will not work as it will not actually edit the dns since the dns will be on a different machine that is not in a cpanel cluster. Also, editing mx records will not work. All of these would have to be added to your DNS servers manually.
