    Hi all

Just wondering if you can allow a web installation of phpMyAdmin to connect to the databases held within the CPanel phpMyAdmin.
I'd like to access the databases without having to login as a CPanel user.

Hope you understand what I mean

OS is CentOS running CPanel release 11.36.0

    Jordan.

You should be able to connect to the mySQL database from outside of the server.

1st you go to cPanel-> Databases-> Remote MySQL and add address of the external server.

2nd you make sure that the incoming tcp port 3306 is open in your firewall.

Yes, you can install phpMyAdmin on an account and access it like accessing any other webpage. Be sure to password protect it of course.
