external subdomain pointing to an internal folder

    one of our customers needs to host one of his subdomains to our server using cpanel.

    something like this: (where is not under our control) should point to our server folder /home/user/shop

    from my knowledge this is easily solved with a virtual host in apache configuration.

    how this can be done using cpanel ?

    Hello :)

    You can simply create a cPanel account for:

    Then, just ensure the "A" record for at the DNS provider of points to the IP address assigned to the cPanel account.
