:fail: and SpamAssassin - which order?

Does anyone know whether messages to bad recipients are dropped by :fail: *before* SpamAssassin is run on them, or after?

Before. When using :fail: the email isn't actually received onto the server.

Thanks Chirpy, as always. That's what I pretty much thought, just looking for confirmation. Can't even imagine the loads that would be generated by having it work the other way around.
