I search the forums and the docs and couldn't find anything about setting a message when using :fail: as the default email address. A client would like to have a special message and I cannot find anything about just setting a custom message for a single domain.

Thanks for the help,
Michael Card

if you want the sender to see a message, you will have to use :blackhole:. Add whatever message you want after :blackhole: in the same line.

eg.

:blackhole: user does not exist

But by using blackhole, there are some disadvantages such as the message will be processed by server. If that is a catchall account, all the spams that come into your server will also be processed which would increase your server load.

":fail: no such address here"

Replace "no such address here" with whatever you want to reply with.

It looks like you have bigger problems than that though.
