    Dear All,

I am new here. Anyway, I faced the problem of changing the permission of a particular file from xxx to 777. But I have no problem to change permission for other folders and files but only that particular folder not allowed me to change. What should I do? Is the folder and files corrupted? But these website files worked ok in the frontend. Strange. Any idea? The error message prompted was:

FileOp Failure on/home/my_sitename/public/xxxxx: Operation not permitted

Check the attributes of folder as follows and change it if enabled.

    lsattr /home/my_sitename/public/xxxxx

You can change attribute with chattr command.
