failed to lock mailbox?? Please help me

    rm -fv /home/zero/mail/zero.com/boran/inbox.lock

    after five minutes

    What you should do is look inside that file (inbox.lock) which will contain a PID. That PID is the cppop process that is (was) looking after that login. You then need to see if it is running:

    ps axf | grep PID

    where PID is the number in the lock file. If there's no cppop process running with that PID, then it's dead and you can delete the inbox.lock file safely.

    If the cppop process for the PID is still running, then you have a choice:

    1. Leave it alone and wait for a timeout (usually 5 minutes)
    2. Kill the PID and then delete the inbox.lock
