    Hello,

There's an existing thread referencing that error message at:

    mod_pagespeed errors

Keep in mind that mod_pagespeed as provided in the EA4 experimental repo has not yet reached a stable status and isn't recommended on production machines. You can follow the progress of the feature request and add comments to it at:

Add support for mod_pagespeed to easyapache4

    Thank you.

    Hello,

In addition to my previous post, keep in mind that mod_pagespeed will not work properly with per-user MPMs (e.g. MPM ITK). This is something we'll document (and likely create a package conflict for during the install process) once Mod_Pagespeed is no longer in the experimental phase.

    Thank you.

It would have been better if you would have provided the exact output of below command:
    # ls -ld /var/mod_pagespeed/cache
    # ls -ld /var/mod_pagespeed
Try setting full permission to this. Also make sure to check what user is allowed to use this..
